This year marks the 20th anniversary of Busch Garden’s popular Halloween event, and the park isn’t holding anything back. The Haunting Hour begins at 5:45 p.m. with Jack leading a mass of "scareactors" through Octoberfest. Then, head off to shriek and shout inside the park’s unique haunted mazes. Four returning favorites and three new haunted mazes await, along with the ever-frightening scare zones you can’t help but walk through on your way around the park.
In addition to the haunted mazes, 2018 brings new scares like Jack’s Nightmare Room escape room experience; the Control Lab, where you get to pick the next victim; two party zones with music and dancing; and zombies lining up with you for the park’s coasters. If you have little ones, never fear: The kids attractions close at 5 p.m., so you have time to leave the park before the scares begin. And October 6-28, kids can celebrate the Count’s Spoooktacular, a Sesame Street Halloween event inside Sesame Street Forest of Fun.
There’s so much new at Busch Gardens Howl-O-Scream 2018, you may want to go more than once to see it all.
