New members can join the Auto Club at the Classic level of benefits only. Existing members with Classic level of benefits are eligible to upgrade to AAA Plus or AAA Premier if the primary member in the membership household has been a primary member of the Auto Club for the prior 90 days and there have been no tows in the membership household through the Auto Club during the same time period. Existing members with AAA Plus level of benefits may upgrade to AAA Premier at any time.

You may add additional family members to your membership at any time. If eligible, you may upgrade your level of benefits at any time. If there are more than six weeks left until your membership renewal date, prices will be pro-rated based on the amount of time left until your renewal date.
You may make changes in-person at your local branch office, by-phone by calling the number listed on the back of your membership card, or online. If there are less than seven weeks left until your membership renewal date, the only online changes that can be made are the ability to remove family members from your membership and the ability to cancel automatic membership renewal.

RV and motorcycle towing up to 100 driving miles, as well as RV tire change service, are available as an option. It entitles you to a total of four RV or motorcycle towing or RV tire change service calls, per household each membership year. You'll be eligible to call for an RV or motor cycle tow or RV tire change as soon as you receive your valid new card(s) noting "RV/Motorcycle" or seven days after receipt of your payment, whichever is earlier. Certain limitations on motorcycle towing apply. Service will not be provided except on hard road surfaces regularly traveled by private passenger automobiles. Service will not be provided when the disabled vehicle cannot be safely reached or serviced without damage to the vehicle or servicing equipment. You or your adult or dependent associate must be with the RV or motorcycle to receive service. RV and Motorcycle Towing & RV Tire Change benefits are subject to the provisions of the Member Guide.
The following motor vehicles are eligible for service, provided they qualify for highway registration and are not loaded, altered or constructed in such a way as to cause damage or create a hazard when being serviced:
- Automobiles, pickup trucks, sport utility vehicles, vans, minivans and light-utility motor vehicles (including rented and commercial passenger vehicles, but excluding taxicabs, limousines, shuttles, and other vehicles-for-hire) are eligible for those services which can be safely performed with equipment available from the independent service provider.
- Recreational Vehicles (RVs) are eligible for service with the exception of towing, extrication/winching and tire change service. Towing and tire change service for RVs is available with Optional RV and Motorcycle Roadside Assistance. RVs include: (i) motor vehicles used for recreational purposes, such as motor homes, camper vans and cab-over campers, and recreational trailers including camping trailers, fifth-wheel trailers, and empty horse trailers, (ii) boat trailers, personal watercraft trailers and ATV trailers, either empty or transporting recreational vehicles or equipment, and (iii) utility trailers carrying recreational equipment (for non-commercial use). Commercial trailers are excluded. Service does not include transportation for horses.
- Motorcycles are eligible only for the delivery of fuel and locksmith services. Towing service for motorcycles is available with Optional RV and Motorcycle Roadside Assistance.
Each Club cardholder is entitled to four (4) Roadside Assistance service calls or reimbursements per membership year at no charge (provided the calls meet the conditions described in the Member Guide). There will be a service charge for each additional service call after the fourth call or reimbursement. If a cardholder has an unpaid service charge balance and contacts the Club for roadside assistance service, the Club may require immediate payment of both the unpaid balance and the service charge for the current service call before providing service.
When your vehicle cannot be started or safely driven, we will tow you to the facility, if any, of the independent service provider answering your call, no matter how far away you are. Or, if you prefer another location, you can be towed to a destination that is either en route to the service provider's facility or up to seven (7) driving miles from where you break down. If you select a location that is farther than seven driving miles, you will be charged for the additional towing mileage.
Optional RV and Motorcycle Roadside Assistance, towing up to 100 driving miles, as well as RV tire change service, are available.
